Payment terms
A deposit of 25% is due when you accept this proposal. It holds your dates on our schedule and pays for your materials. The rest is due when the work is finished, after we've walked through it with you and done any touch-ups.
Anything you add or change is priced in writing first and paid with the balance. Payments go straight to Your Painting Co.: please use only the ways listed under “How to pay”.
If you cancel after accepting, we refund the deposit less any materials already bought for your job. This doesn't limit any right to cancel you have by law.

Warranty
Your Painting Co. guarantees its workmanship for 2 years from the day we finish. If paint we applied peels, blisters or flakes because of how we prepared or painted the surface, we'll repair that area at no charge.
Not covered: cracks in drywall, plaster or caulk; nail pops; water, leak or humidity damage; failure of older paint or surfaces under ours; wear, cleaning, knocks, pets or other damage after we finish; paint you supplied; and slight color or sheen differences in touch-ups.
To claim, tell us soon after you notice the problem and let us inspect and repair it. The warranty applies once the job is paid in full. The paint maker's warranty covers the paint only, not the labor.
Terms
- Changes: we agree any change to the work, and its price, in writing before we do it.
- Colors: you choose and confirm the colors and sheens before we start. We're happy to paint a sample first. Changing a color once we've started costs extra.
- Access: please give us access to the rooms, water and electricity during working hours. Put away small items, valuables and wall hangings; we move and cover furniture where this proposal says so. Keep pets away from the work.
- Not included: surfaces that aren't listed in this proposal.
- Hidden damage: if prep uncovers rot, leaks or loose plaster, we'll stop, show you and agree a price before repairing it.
- Drying: paint dries in hours but takes a few weeks to harden fully, so clean it gently at first.
- Cleanup: we tidy up every day and clean up fully at the end. Leftover paint is yours to keep for touch-ups.
- Prices in this proposal hold until October 25, 2026.
Important notice
IMPORTANT NOTICE: You and your contractor are responsible for meeting the terms and conditions of this contract. If you sign this contract and you fail to meet the terms and conditions of this contract, you may lose your legal ownership rights in your home. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND DUTIES UNDER THE LAW.
Construction defects
This contract is subject to Chapter 27 of the Texas Property Code. The provisions of that chapter may affect your right to recover damages arising from a construction defect. If you have a complaint concerning a construction defect and that defect has not been corrected as may be required by law or by contract, you must provide the notice required by Chapter 27 of the Texas Property Code to the contractor by certified mail, return receipt requested, not later than the 60th day before the date you file suit to recover damages in a court of law or initiate arbitration. The notice must refer to Chapter 27 of the Texas Property Code and must describe the construction defect. If requested by the contractor, you must provide the contractor an opportunity to inspect and cure the defect as provided by Section 27.004 of the Texas Property Code.

If you cancel, any payments you made, including the deposit, will be returned within 10 business days after Your Painting Co. receives your cancellation notice.
If you cancel, you must make available to Your Painting Co., at your home and in substantially as good condition as when received, any goods delivered to you under this agreement. If Your Painting Co. doesn't collect them within 20 days of your notice, you may keep them without further obligation.
To cancel, mail or deliver a signed and dated copy of this notice, or any other written notice, to Your Painting Co., 2100 S Lamar Blvd, Suite 4, Austin, TX 78704, no later than midnight of ____________________.
